Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

Planned power shut-off for Climenhaga Fine Arts Center Aug. 25

Climenhaga Fine Art Center will be without power on Saturday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. This is necessary so the contractor can safely make electrical connections in the main switch gear for the building. Because there will be no power in the building no one will be permitted to enter during this time. (We realize there is some testing going on from 8 until 9:30 a.m. The power will remain on so the testing can be completed. Occupants will need to leave the building by 10 a.m.) Questions can be directed to facility services at ext. 6011.

Make plans to attend the Movie on the Green Sept. 21

Human resources is once again partnering with the Agapé Center and Student Involvement and Leadership Programs to host an outdoor movie event. Set in Scotland in a rugged and mythical time, “Brave” features Merida, an aspiring archer and impetuous daughter of royalty. Merida makes a reckless choice that unleashes unintended peril and forces her to spring into action to set things right.

Suggested donation is $1/student or $5/family. All proceeds benefit the United Way of the Capital Region. Concessions (including hot dogs, pizza and macaroni and cheese) will be available beginning at 6:30 p.m.  See attachment for further details.
