Open enrollment for preschool 2016/2017

The Early Learning Center is pleased to announce our open enrollment for 2016/2017. We have both full-day and half-day programs available to the Messiah College community and the community at large. We continually strive to use developmentally appropriate goals for young children as well as children’s interests as a framework for planning the educational program and assessing children’s progress in all aspects of the social-emotional, cognitive, spiritual and physical foundations necessary for later school success. The Early Learning Center utilizes the Project Approach as a key component of its curriculum. This inquiry-based approach allows children and teachers to engage in in-depth investigations of a topic or idea worth studying, resulting in the strengthening of academic skills and intellectual dispositions in an authentic manner. Children are viewed as capable, competent, curious and creative members of the classroom community.

Interested parties should contact the administrative assistant at 717-796-5043 or email earlylearningcenter@messiah.edu for further questions or to schedule a tour of the center. You can also visit our website at messiah.edu/elc and complete an online waiting list form.
