So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Artist event: book crafter Dannielle Vincent demonstration
On Wednesday, March 27 at 4 p.m. on the Library’s main floor, College Press and Murray Library welcome book crafter Dannielle Vincent who will be speaking about and demonstrating her work in creatively altering and repurposing books. Dannielle Vincent’s hand-folded book art and patterns caught the attention of the Longwood Gardens staff, who commissioned her to create pieces for their very popular Christmas exhibits. In addition, she was the first artist ever to have their work featured on the cover of Longwood’s Holiday brochure. Through video and hands-on demonstration, Dannielle will demonstrate how she creates a pattern and then folds a book to create a work of art, and will also speak about the steps of starting an online business. A few of her creations are currently on display at Murray Library. For more of her work: https://www.etsy.com/shop/PreMadeReMade
Focus groups
We need your feedback! In response to our Campus Climate Survey conducted in March 2017, the Campus Climate Action Team (CCAT) along with colleagues from the Graduate Program in Higher Education at Penn State University, led by Dr. Dave Guthrie, are hosting focus groups on campus to gather additional information on the perceived intersection of the identified priorities with employee experiences and perspectives. A number of these focus groups have already occurred, but there are more yet to come. If you were already contacted about participating in a particular constituent group, but have yet to sign up, please consider doing so. In addition, if you were not previously contacted, but would like to participate, please sign up for an Open Group which is scheduled for Thursday, March 28 at the following link: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=RY30fNs9iUOpwcEVUm61LjFmz07NjspIhgqNEZSiCSJUNE8zOUg1VlRMUE44S0Q2Rk85WU1BWVpTNCQlQCN0PWcu If you would like to participate in this effort, but are simply unable to attend a focus group at the days/times identified at the link above, we encourage you to participate by completing and submitting this Qualtrics survey that includes the same prompts used in the focus groups: https://pennstate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eD4gjgzwfug8DTn Questions may be directed to the co-chairs of the Campus Climate Action Team: Dr. Todd Allen at tallen@messiah.edu and Inger Blount at iblount@messiah.edu.
Your feedback needed!
This year the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations will be the point of contact for Family Weekend as well as all Homecoming festivities. In order to ensure we are helping to craft a meaningful experience for both our guests as well as our on-campus offices, we’d love your feedback on how to make both of those events effective for your team! Please submit your feedback by clicking here to fill out our survey. Presidential Lecture Series Promoting the Common Good
During the 2018-2019 academic year, Messiah College will explore how incarnating our mission as a Christian college of the liberal and applied arts and sciences in a rapidly changing and increasingly skeptical cultural context contributes to the common good of church and society – a common good rooted in a Christ-centered commitment to the dignity, welfare and human flourishing of all our neighbors. The Office of the President is sponsoring a lecture series devoted to this exploration. George Pickens’ lecture will take place on Tuesday evening, March 26 at 7 p.m. in Parmer Hall. The lecture will be 30 minutes and followed by a Q & A session. Chapel credits will be offered.
Service Day: Serve with Area M Special Olympics
Messiah College, in partnership with Area M, is once again hosting more than 1,100 athletes on April 11 to compete in the 50th Anniversary of the Area M Special Olympic Games. These games cannot happen without your help! Volunteer registration for Special Olympics is now LIVE! To sign-up, visit: http://agapecenter-2018specialosignups.partnershipplanners.org/volunteer/index.php Additional information regarding Service Day can be found on our website (messiah.edu/agape). Shutting down MCSquare
In the beginning of October, ITS launched Falconlink to the campus community. Since that time, FalconLink has been updated to address minor bugs, add cards and improve the overall user experience. Now that all the content from MCSquare has been moved to FalconLink and quite a few new cards have been created, the time has come to shut down MCSquare. On Tuesday, March 26, MCSquare will no longer be accessible. If you have any bookmarks pointing to MCSquare, they will automatically be directed to FalconLink. If you are unable to find a card, or discover a card doesn’t work properly, simply click on the message icon to the right of the search box to let us know.

Wanted
Looking for a forever home for my cat. I have an exotic shorthair cat that I need to find a forever home for. He will be 2 in May, is neutered, easily handled for brushing and nail clipping and has a wonderful personality. He is a little shy until he gets to know you, so a house with a lot of noise probably would not be a good fit for him. He gets along with other cats and is a very easy keeper. If you are interested, or would like more information, please contact me at skeefer@messiah.edu.
