NEWS

The provost is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Fenstermacher as assistant dean of nursing, effective Aug. 1. In this role, Fenstermacher will serve as chief nursing administrator for all Messiah College undergraduate and graduate degree programs in nursing, accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). This comprehensive leadership model centralizes and subsumes the roles of the undergraduate department chair and the director of graduate programs and facilitates focused vision and streamlined oversight for all aspects of our nursing program. Reporting to Fenstermacher, Louann Zinsmeister will lead as coordinator of the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and the certificate of advanced graduate studies (CAGS), and Kristen Slabaugh will lead as coordinator of the doctor of nursing practice-family nurse practitioner (DNP-FNP).
