Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.

Romans 13:1

For two months this past summer, professor of marketing David Hagenbuch made racial reconciliation the focus of his Mindful Marketing blog. After offering his opinion on how the field can contribute to social healing, he invited three others to share their perspectives as guest bloggers: current Messiah business administration major Will Young IV, Messiah marketing alumna Abbigail (Facey) Jones, and Dr. Sonja Martin Poole, associate professor of marketing at the University of San Francisco.

CommPRO, a business-to-business digital publisher and professional development and event production firm headquartered in New York City, republished each of the articles, which can be found at the following links:

“Listen and Act, for Marketing and Racial Reconciliation,” by Will Young IV

“Business Today: The Best Path to Racial Justice,” by Abbigail Jones

“How Marketing Still Needs Racial Redemption,” by Sonja Martin Poole

“Can Marketing Make a Difference?” by David Hagenbuch
