Dr. Brenda Elliott, assistant professor in the Department of Nursing and coordinator of MSN, CAGS, and RN to BSN Programs, recently attended Sigma Theta Tau International’s 33rd International Research Congress (2022, July 21 – 25), Edinburgh, Scotland. She delivered 3 research-based podium presentations titled Nurses’ experiences caring for veterans in rural community settings; Health risks associated with sojourning abroad: U.S. military spouses’ experiences living in Italy; and Increasing nursing workforce with military veterans.

Welcome Week 2022

The Office of Student Engagement is excited to host Welcome Week 2022 for all incoming new and transfer students. New Student Orientation will begin for all students on Friday, Aug. 19 (some students will arrive earlier through particular early arrival programs). Please be aware that there will be many visitors on campus the 19 as our new students arrive to Messiah. Orientation events will continue through Saturday, Aug. 27.

Free desks. Messiah University has leftover furniture from residence hall moves and room consolidations. After responsibly donating furniture and disposing of what was not able to be reclaimed, we are left with 15 desks that have no home.

The University is making these dorm room desks available at no cost to anyone interested in them and able to remove them from campus.
