AROUND CAMPUS

MISSING: Large black utility cart

A large black utility cart exactly like the one pictured here went missing from the Campus Store around the week of June 16. We presume we loaned it out for the transportation of packages, but it has not been returned. If located, please return to the Campus Store as soon as possible. We rely on this cart for large packages and textbook fulfillment. Thank you!

Sundaes with Seven

Interim President Jon and Mrs. Shari Stuckey invite employees and their families to a casual night of great music and frozen treats! Come to Larsen Student Union on Monday, July 14 at 6:30 p.m. & enjoy the music of SEVEN, a group of multi-talented musicians from Messiah University who have a heart for ministry, performance and creativity. If the weather cooperates, we will be out on the patio (bring blankets or lawn chairs for extra seating) and if it’s rainy, we’ll be inside. An assortment of frozen treats will be available to enjoy! No RSVP required but if you know you are coming, please email president@messiah.edu with a guest count to aid our catering estimates.

On My Grind coffee truck coming to campus Tuesday

As a fun treat while grad students are here for five of our programs summer intensive week, the On My Grind Coffee Truck will be on main campus on Tuesday, July 22 from 7-10 a.m.! The truck will be located in the Old Main parking lot. All are welcome to grab a drink from the truck and each person is responsible for paying for their own beverage(s) iced or hot (coffee and tea options are available). BID FAREWELL

Change in the CPDC

After 20 years of service to Messiah University, Joy Fea is leaving to pursue an opportunity at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Joy will serve as the director of Upper House Commons which “gathers the university community for spiritual, intellectual, and vocational formation.” The CPDC team will miss Joy immensely – she has strengthened the university-wide Internship Program, formed countless relationships with faculty, students, and employers, and has always inspired us to lifelong learning and improvement in our work.
