Ted Davis, professor of the history of science, was the main consultant for a recent issue of Christian History magazine on the theme, “How the church fostered science and technology.” He also wrote two articles in that issue, which can be downloaded at https://christianhistoryinstitute.org/magazine/issue/science-and-technology.

Last spring Amy Porto encouraged a group of four students in her research course (NUTR 426) to submit their abstract for consideration at our national meeting (Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo). We are excited to report, it has been accepted as a poster presentation.

Unfortunately the meeting will be held virtually this year but the students are thrilled and honored to be able to present their research at this level.

A special thank you to Mindy Smith who allowed students to recruit subjects from WELL courses last spring and helped to facilitate that process.
