Carol Buckley is retiring from Messiah University at the end of the Fall 2023 semester. Carol began at teaching at Messiah in 2013. During her ten and a half years at Messiah, Carol has not only served as associate professor, but has also held the role of peer evaluator for three terms, COE Senate (2 terms), the Oakes Museum committee, teacher education Committee, commissioning service committee and support for co-teaching training workshops. SGPS Holiday Collection to benefit on-campus grad students

Dear Messiah Community,

Once again this Christmas season, Messiah’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies is giving back directly to our on-campus graduate students by supplying each one with a grocery bag filled with final exam/study snacks. This year, we need to fill 185 paper “Trader Joe’s” bags for students enrolled in the Doctor of Physical Therapy, Master of Science in Athletic Training, Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, Master of Science in Occupational Therapy programs; and our Master of Arts in Higher Education Graduate Assistants. Bags will be assembled on Wednesday, December 6 and distributed shortly after.

Thank you to those who have already donated items and gift cards! We still need help if you are able to donate snack items or gift cards for local grocery stores during the month of November to help us fill 185 bags that are bursting at the seams! Designated drop-off locations are in Boyer 376-1, Kline 117, and the graduate administrative suite in Winding Hill (room 178).

Please visit the link to view and sign up items that are still needed. If possible, items should be dropped off by the week after Thanksgiving. Contact Julie Gomboc-Hellam at jgomboc@messiah.edu if you need to make other drop-off arrangements or have any questions.
