Oksana Moroz, assistant professor of English and director of writing, was invited to participate in an expert panel for the Muskie (https://culturalvistas.org/our-programs/internships-fellowships/edmund-s-muskie-professional-fellowship) Alumni Council on the topic of “Teaching Tomorrow: AI’s Role in Reimagining Education” on Wednesday, May 28.

In this panel, Oksana discussed the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence on the educational field and shared insights on how AI is shaping educational practices, improving accessibility and impacting institutional policies.

Intercom submissions with photos

When requesting an intercom submission with a photo attachment, future best practices are to attach a word document with embedded photo links. We can no longer save attached photos to the W drive. Our suggestion would be to link photos to a personal site such as google photos. Thank you.

Exploring AI in the Workplace: Effectively Using AI Ethically, Legally and Securely

Curious about using AI at work? This workshop introduces generative AI tools like ChatGPT, explains how they work and how to use them ethically, legally and securely. Learn how to generate more effective AI prompts while understanding key risks and best practices for privacy and responsible use. No technical experience needed. Led by librarians, Janet Vogel and Beth Transue, and director of Information Security, Allen Snook.
