The Registrar’s Office is pleased to announce the following staffing transitions.
It is with sadness (for us) and excitement (for her) that we announce Jill Poole is retiring on June 30. Jill first came to Messiah as a behavioral science major. After graduation, she returned to Messiah and served in a variety of roles: resident director, gifts processor, Student Life office assistant, Service Learning and College Ministries before landing in the Registrar’s Office as the transfer records specialist twenty years ago. Jill has touched literally thousands of lives during her tenure at Messiah. Throughout her career at Messiah, Jill has served others generously and with a prayerful and caring approach. We wish her joy and blessings as she steps into God’s next adventure!
Michelle Glenny has been promoted to transfer records specialist. Michelle joined the Registrar’s Office as the administrative assistant to the registrar in March 2023. Since that time, she has developed into an effective member of our team by asking insightful questions and seeking to improve processes and procedures. In her new role, Michelle will support new, transfer and current students with transfer credit evaluations/processing, evaluate and process off-campus program approvals and transcripts. She will work closely with subject matter experts to determine Messiah course equivalencies.
Please join us in congratulating Michelle on her promotion and wish Jill the best in her retirement.
