The full schedule for the 2026 Commencement Ceremony for the School of Graduate and Professional Studies is posted online at messiah.edu/gradcommencement. This website will also provide a live video stream of the Commencement ceremony.
Members of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies faculty should have already received information from the Office of the Provost regarding their participation in Commencement. Faculty, staff and administrators who are participating in the Commencement ceremony should also have received a memo regarding their role in the ceremony from the Commencement Committee.
Parking
Parking lots YY (beside the Welcome Center) VV (the visitor’s lot) and TT (along the railroad tracks) and Sollenberger Sports Center will be the primary guest parking lot for this event.
COE and employees may park in the ZZ lot (between the High Center and Old Main and surrounding Old Main). There will be no reserved parking passes issued for this event.

Second Slingshot Choice survey winner of $50 gift card
The Campus Store sent a second Slingshot Choice survey to all faculty, admissions counselors and administrators and forty-one unique responses were received. Employee Recognition Picnic – TODAY
All employees are invited to attend our annual employee recognition picnic TODAY anytime between 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Larsen Student Union. Lunch is provided. We’ll have three different food trucks to choose from – Lucky Penny Burger, Piper Belle’s BBQ, and Walk-O Taco (see menu here). Be sure to stop by the welcome tent to pick up a lunch ticket. This is a time to enjoy fellowship and show our appreciation to those employees reaching milestone years of service, award recipients and retirees. We hope to see you there!
