Presentation on AI ethics
On July 8, Professor of Marketing David Hagenbuch made a presentation about artificial intelligence ethics at the British Academy of Management’s “International Conference on Navigating the AI Nexus.” The virtual conference, hosted by Brunel University London, drew academic researchers, students, and business practitioners from around the world.
Tech Support – Did you know?
• Microsoft AutoSave: AutoSave is enabled by default in Microsoft 365 when a file is stored on OneDrive, OneDrive for Business, or SharePoint Online. If you are working on a file from M: or O: drive, Autosave will not function. This is a default setting from Microsoft that cannot be modified.
• Adobe PDF font issue: Aptos is Microsoft’s new Default Font in Microsoft 365, and Adobe Acrobat apparently doesn’t know what to do with it. The fix? Go into the Printer Properties for your Adobe PDF printer, and on the Adobe PDF Settings tab, UNCHECK “Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts”. Or you can use Microsoft Print to PDF option.
• Restart, Sleep or Shutdown? Your computer should be restarted at least once a week. Closing the lid or pushing the power button only puts the computer to sleep and does not constitute a restart. To restart your Windows computer, Click Start > Power > Restart. On a Mac, Click the Apple icon > Restart.

Wanted
Airline miles. Does anyone have anyone have any airline miles they know they won’t be using that they would be willing to sell me for a discount price? I’d like to fly out to San Diego in September to see my sons graduation from the Navy and I know sometimes people have miles that they don’t use. Not even sure you can transfer them, but it was a thought.
